MALG’s objective is to work for greater communication, understanding and professionalism by providing a forum which enables liaison between the creditor and money advice sectors.
It aims to:
- Facilitate and promote communication, best practice, understanding and professionalism among organisations concerned with consumer credit and debt, money advice, debt collection and related matters
- Organise and administer regular meetings and annual conferences
- Provide relevant information to members
- Encourage the establishment and support the work of regional forums with similar aims and objectives throughout the United Kingdom
- Facilitate the resolution of differences and the exchange of views between members
