MALG Annual Conference

MALG organises an annual conference and exhibition, held each Autumn in London. This event provides an opportunity for networking and for the debate of current issues of concern in a spirit of partnership and in a non-confrontational atmosphere.

Attendance at the conference is recommended to creditors, debt collecting agencies, debt advisers, enforcement agents, regulators and anyone working within the consumer credit and debt industry.

MALG's 2013 Conference & Exhibition theme is Tomorrow's debt regime - solid silver or nickel plated? and it will debate the future regulatory landscape as April 2014 draws closer and the Financial Conduct Authority takes over regulation of consumer credit. Bearing in mind recent history has not always been kind to regulators, can we look forward to effective regulation that works well for consumers and industry alike?

The Conference's silver theme also reflects the fact that the 2013 Conference & Exhibition will be MALG's 25th! To help us celebrate our anniversary, we have two star-studded Chairs, the well-known broadcasters and journalists Jon Snow in the morning and Liz Barclay after lunch. We also have a change of venue.
