MALG holds meetings for its members once every other month throughout the year. 

Meetings take place in London. Legislation updates are a regular feature of MALG meetings with reports being received from:

• The Department of Business, Innovation
  and Skills
• The Financial Services Authority
• The Insolvency Service
• The Accountant in Bankruptcy
• The Ministry of Justice
• The Office of Fair Trading

In addition to these updates each meeting tends to focus on a matter of particular current interest  or concern and these are usually presented by guest speakers who are experts in  the particular field of discussion.  Subjects that have received a special focus over the last twelve months include:

• Developments in data sharing
• The Homeowners Mortgage Support Scheme
